Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Rachel Card, FNP-C Rachel joined Work Health in 2021.
 
She has been a Registered Nurse since 1993 and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees through Chamberlain University. She received her board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is also a Certified DOT Medical Examiner. She has been a certified level 1 firefighter and EMT-B in the past. Currently, Rachel is an adjunct professor for University of Maine Augusta, teaching junior and senior year nursing students. She has been a preceptor for several Nurse Practitioner students in the past.
 
Rachel was born in Kansas, but has worked in Texas, Georgia, Bermuda and Waterville.  In Bermuda, she received extensive training in Ebola Preparedness, and this empowered her to help the Waterville and surrounding communities through working at the Covid Testing Center at Inland Hospital.
