Thomas Robinson, PA-C

Occupational Health Physician Assistant

Thomas Robinson, PA-C Tom Robinson has been working with us since 2014 and has been a practicing Physician Assistant for 40 years.  He considers his specialty as Occupational Medicine but has also practiced surgery and emergency medicine. 

He received his Bachelor of Science in environmental conservation from the University of New Hampshire and then went to PA school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina.  After that he did a PA surgical residency in Baltimore, Maryland. 

He is nationally certified as a PA through the NCCPA (National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants) and is a DOT certified medical examiner.  He is certified for spirometry and audiometric testing and is a CPR instructor. 

Tom works primarily in the Bangor offices, splitting his time between the State Street and Union Street office, but has covered at all our clinics.  He also is the assistant Chief of Newburg Rescue.

Although he grew up in Massachusetts, after his schooling and residencies he ended up here in Maine where he enjoys reading, being outside, photography, but mostly just spending time with his wife.

Tom feels that his main purpose in life is to spread kindness, peace, and a touch of humor.
